Wigan Warriors Media and Communications Executive (Part-time) (March 2017 - Present)​

  • Working with high profile athletes and conducting interviews, as well as briefing club spokes people, including the Head Coach Adrian Lam 

  • Executed agreed content plans across multiple channels for high profile events, including ground breaking games at the Camp Nou in Barcelona and the 2018 Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford 

  • Media management at Anfield in Liverpool for the 2019 Magic Weekend, working with different media companies to accompany their post-match coach/player needs in the press conference and press zone

  • Responsible for managing and scheduling social media posts across an array of platforms and write daily articles for the online website 

  • Working across multiple departments to craft and create content, within the Wigan Warriors Community and Foundation

Wigan Warriors TV Commentator (Part-time) (August 2017 - Present)

  • Lead commentator for all Academy games on the subscribed online club channel - providing live match coverage alongside player and coach co-commentators at Robin Park Arena and away stadia - in front of a watching subscribed audience


BBC Radio Manchester (Work experience) (2 weeks - November 2019) 

  • Radio journalist for the drivetime programme – gathering vox pops and creating recorded packages on a wide variety of topics, which were broadcast on air

  • Floor manager during a three-hour live outside broadcast for Children in Need in Manchester city centre

ITV Granada Reports (Freelance work experience) (General Election - 12th December 2019)

  • Political reporter during the 2019 General Election night, where myself and a fellow University student attended Stockport Town Hall and worked together to film (with an AC90 camera) the counts and declarations for the Stockport, Hazel Grove and Cheadle constituencies, as well as interviewing the winning candidates and providing updates to the news desk through the night

Manchester United TV (MUTV) (Freelance work experience) (August 2018 - May 2019)

  • Floor manager and interviewer for MUTV â€“ attending Premier League 2 Division 2 home and away games for Manchester United's Academy Under-18s side - providing in-game information to the gallery team for on-screen live TV graphics such as team news, substitutions and bookings, as well as interviewing Manager Neil Ryan straight after each game

  • Media volunteer writing previews and reporting on results on the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUS) and National Conference League (NCL) for the RFL website, as well as a commentator for the Our League App for the 2018 Origin Men's and Women's series at The Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington

Salford Now (Student journalist) (October 2018 - December 2019)​

  • Producing University work on Salford's in-house news organisation based at the MediaCityUK campus - input roles - mainly a news reporter - delivering content on different medium platforms (TV, radio, online, newspaper), with a focus for web-first journalism, through generating story ideas within the general news area surrounding Salford

  • Output roles - operating in the TV gallery and radio studio (editor, producer, director, presenter, sound operator, graphics, server, camera, floor manager) for the live broadcast of news bulletins and programmes 


Shock Radio (Extra-curricular) (October 2017 - Present)

  • Presenting, producing and commentating on the sports team/Sports Show on Manchester’s biggest student radio station – Shock Radio – based at the University of Salford’s main campus 

  • Head of Sport for the second year (October 2018 - May 2019) – organising one-off outside broadcast events, as well as leading the team every Monday from 8-9pm when the Sports Show was live on air

Utter Radio - The Football Club Podcast (Extra-curricular) (October 2018 - February 2019) 

  • Presented a football podcast with a fellow university student at the Utter Radio studios at the University of Salford’s MediaCityUK campus - talking about the breaking football stories, analysing the Premier League and Championship and discussing the rumours circulating the footballing world

Super League (Work experience) (1 day - 26th May 2019)

  • Spent the second day of the 2019 Magic Weekend at Anfield in Liverpool with the communications team to see how the two-day event works - including how content is delivered via social media, broadcasting arrangements, assigning press passes and organising press conferences and post-match interviews
